Small Ensembles
THE JOY OF SINGING TOGETHER
In addition to its full chorus, the Springfield Choral Society has a number of smaller ensembles from within its ranks of singers. Our small ensembles often participate in SCS festivals and performances, such as our 2024 portrait concert of Florence Price, and they also work closely with our Community Engagement Committee to bring their singing to events and locations all across our city.
Bellacappella
Bellacappella is the Springfield Choral Society’s all-women’s ensemble, made up of talented singers who share a deep passion for making music together. Known for their powerful stage presence, Bellacappella is at home in music of all genres & styles, and their audiences can't help but be swept up in their energy and joy!

Sangamen Singers
The Sangamen Singers is the Springfield Choral Society’s men’s ensemble, where skilled voices come together to create rich and dynamic sound. Driven by a shared love of singing, the group brings artistry and passion to the stage, highlighting the expressive range and depth of men’s choral music.
