The Springfield Choral Society offers the special opportunity to gain visibility for your business by serving as a corporate or individual sponsor of our 2023-2024 Season. Sponsorships help you reach a broad audience of individuals in your area and are a valuable marketing tool, demonstrating your commitment to philanthropy and the community.
The Springfield Choral Society’s 2023-2024 Season
The Choral Society will present four concerts this season, each bringing together our community for a delightful evening of choral music, accompanied by talented orchestral musicians and special guest vocalists. We perform in beautiful, historic venues throughout the Springfield community and engage the participation of multiple generations in our chorus.
In December, we present G.F. Handel’s Messiah, paired with JS Bach’s Magnificat in the splendor of The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. This concert has become a Springfield community tradition that ushers in the Christmas season and delights a large audience. As part of Black History Month, we will join with the UIS Orchestra for a performance of Florence Price’s cantata “Lincoln Walks at Midnight,” set to the poem by Springfield’s Vachel Lindsay. In presenting this work, which brings an African-American Chicagoan composer together with prominent locals Lincoln and Lindsay, the SCS will be partnering with several local organizations to create an event that explores Springfield’s past and present. In May, we will conclude our season with "In Paradisum,” a beautiful program centered around Fauré’s Requiem, once again in the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception.
We Reach a Large and Diverse Audience...
The Springfield Choral Society serves our audiences of nearly 1,000 choral music lovers and the chorus of 80 dedicated singers. For our funding, we rely solely on the contributions of our many loyal donors, foundations, and corporations. Our musicians and audiences greatly appreciate the businesses and corporations supporting our work. Your business’ sponsorship will provide visibility to your products or services, helping to bring in new customers. Your logo and business name will be displayed on signage at our concerts, in the program booklet in the hands of each audience member, on our website, and via special recognition from the podium, should you choose the premium sponsorships.
Your corporate or individual sponsorship will support the Springfield Choral Society’s effort to promote and present quality choral music to the greater Springfield community. We also strive to collaborate with others in our vibrant arts community to promote choral art and heighten awareness of art’s healing and life-enhancing power.
